Fulham forward Rodrigo Muniz has picked up the Premier League’s player of the month for March.

The in-form Brazilian striker scored a goal and made another as Marco Silva’s side began the month by beating Brighton and Hove Albion at Craven Cottage before bagging a brace in the Whites’ win over Tottenham Hotspur. His brilliant bicycle kick earned Fulham a point at Bramall Lane.

Muniz, who becomes third Fulham player to win the Premier League accolade following in the footsteps of Louis Saha and Mark Schwarzer, modestly insisted the credit really belonged to his team-mates, telling FFC TV:

“Without my teammates, the staff, everybody who works here, this would have been impossible. I have to thank everybody.”
