Fulham are one of several Premier League sides interested in signing Newcastle United winger Miguel Almiron, according to Talksport.

The Paraguayan international is one of several fringe players who may leave St. James’ Park in the closing days of the transfer window to free up funds for Eddie Howe to bring a new right winger. Almiron, who can play either on the right flank as an attacking midfielder, has scored 30 goals in 209 games for the Magpies since joining the Geordies from Atlanta United in a £21m deal in January 2019.

The 30 year-old, who has won 58 senior caps for his country, has a little under two years to run on his current contract. Fulham boss Marco Silva admitted last week that he was searching for another winger to complete the Whites’ transfer business and the Londoners are now pursuing new targets having failed in attempt to bring French starlet Rayan Cherki to Craven Cottage.
