Harrison Reed hopes to rekindle some special memories when Fulham travel to Nottingham Forest tomorrow night – having opened his account for the club at the City Ground last season.

The industrious midfielder scored the winner in a rollercoaster 3-2 win over Forest last year, when Marco Silva’s side claimed a memorable win after coming from behind.

Reed told the club’s official website this morning:

“Yeah, I could do with a goal to be fair! I haven’t scored too many since that day. In the second half we blew them away a little bit. We were 1-0 down at half-time and then we scored three quick goals. It was my first goal for Fulham and my first goal in the Premier League, so that was a special night for me. Hopefully we can recreate that again.”

Reed knows the Whites will face a tough challenge – with Forest buoyed by coming from a goal down to earn a point against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

“Really, really tough place to go. The crowd are right behind them. Obviously with the points deduction that they’ve received, there’s going to be that extra bit of momentum and motivation for them. Always a tough place to go, tough team to play against. I think every team in the Premier League needs respect, but we’ll respect ourselves first and we’ll go there and try and get the three points, for sure.”
