Raul Jimenez has scotched rumours linking him with a summer return to Mexico – insisting he wants to contribute to Fulham’s success under Marco Silva.

The former Wolves forward had been named as a possible target for former club Club America in recent South American press reports, but Jimenez told Claro Sports that he is concentrating on performing well at Craven Cottage.

“Right now, I see myself here in Europe for as long as possible, I have a minimum deal for another two more years here. I want to fulfil them and then see. If I can retire here in Europe, it would also be great, to finish my career and do it in the best way possible, but I’m not closing the doors to return to Mexico. I have a contract here, I am happy, I know I can continue performing at this level in the Premier League. No approach or anything.”
