Fulham are the latest Premier League club to cast a keen eye over Blackburn Rovers forward Sammy Szmodics, according to the Sun.

The Whites watched the new Republic of Ireland call-up score his 21st goal of the season last weekend as Rovers drew with Plymouth Argyle. Fulham’s chief scout Brian Talbot was reportedly impressed by the 28 year-old, who has now scored 34 goals in 81 games since moving to Ewood Park from Peterborough United in August 2022.

Fulham could face competition from Brentford for Szmodics’ signature come the summer, although the size of the fee could depend on whether Rovers drop into League One.
