Harry Wilson will be out of action for ‘two or three weeks’ after injuring his shoulder in Fulham’s FA Cup exit at the hands of Newcastle United on Saturday, according to Marco Silva.

The Welsh winger had to be withdrawn before half-time having fallen awkwardly after a challenge by Dan Burn at the weekend and the Fulham head coach confirmed that the former Liverpool forward will be missing until at least mid-Feburary during his pre-match press conference earlier this afternoon.

Silva said:

“We’re still assessing the players from [the weekend]. We played two games, really emotional games, and it took a lot of energy from ourselves. Unfortunately for us, Harry Wilson is going to be out for at least two or three weeks.”
