Fulham Women have signed experienced central defender Cat Beaver until the end of the season on a dual registration deal with Milton Keynes.

The former Oxford United stalwart will bring both defensive durability and considerable leadership qualities to Steve Jaye’s squad as Fulham gear up for a crucial run of fixtures in their push for the only promotion place available from the London and South East Regional Premier Division.

Beaver, who made more than a hundred appearances in two spells with Oxford, has also represented Nottingham Forest and played for the Royal Air Force’s first team. She could make her debut in Fulham’s home fixture against Sutton United at Motspur Park tomorrow afternoon.
