Young Fulham defender Ibane Bowat has joined Dutch second division side Den Bosch on loan for the remainder of the season. The Blue and White Dragons also have an option to buy the 20 year-old included in the deal.
The Scottish under-21 international, who can play either at left back or centre back, joined Fulham in 2017 and has gone to make over a half century of appearances for the club’s academy. Bowat, who has played fourteen times for Steve Wigley’s under 21s this term, could make his Den Bosch debut against Jong PSV on Friday night.
Jack de Gier’s side are eighteenth in the Dutch second tier and have targeted defensive signings to arrest an alarming slump that has seen them lose all of their last five league fixtures.
