Fulham midfielder Tyrese Francois has moved to Croatian club HNK Gorica on loan for the remainder of the season.

The Whites signed an academy partnership with Gorica last summer and Francois is the first Fulham player to move to the Gori?ani. The 22 year-old, who eventually signed a new contract having appeared lucky to leave Craven Cottage permanently in the summer, has made two first-team appearances under Marco Silva this term – having come on to help the Londoners see out a goalless draw at Wolves last month.

Francois is hoping that more regular first-team football could help him break into the Australian squad for the World Cup this winter. Gorica are currently ninth in the Croatian top flight and travel to Varazdin tomorrow night.
