Fulham have announced that midfielder, Mattias Kait has left the club to join Slovenian side, NK Domzale on a permanent deal.

The 20-year-old spent last season on loan with Scottish side, Ross County last season, where he made five league appearances in total.

But he seemingly didn’t do enough to warrant a place in the Fulham first-team ahead of next year’s campaign back in the Championship.

Scott Parker’s side were relegated from the Premier League in their first season back in the top-flight.

Kait has been a regular for the Estonian national side, and recently featured in their 8-0 defeat to Germany in their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.

The midfielder was a regular for the Fulham under 23’s side in recent years, but never broke through to the first-team, which will certainly have come as a frustration.

He first joined Fulham as an academy player back in 2014, after signing from Estonian side, FCI Levadia Tallinn.

Kait earned a new deal with Fulham back in 2017, that would extend his contract until the summer of 2019, but he’s evidently not in their plans for the future.
