Accrington Stanley have completed the signing of young Fulham goalkeeper Marek Rodak on loan until the end of the season.

The Slovakian under-21 international has yet to make his senior Fulham debut but is highly-rated at Motspur Park and impressed during his loan spell with National League outfit Woking, for whom he made 17 first-team appearances, last season. Rodak will go straight in Stanley’s squad for their League Two clash with Cheltenham Town tomorrow afternoon.

Accrington has been a successful destination for promising Fulham goalkeepers in recent years. Stanley have given valuable first-team experience to Marcus Bettinelli, who subsequently stepped up to become Fulham’s number one, and Jesse Joronen – whose own loan spell was badly disrupted by injury – over the past couple of seasons.
