Fulham have confirmed the signing of Lewis Holtby on loan from Tottenham for the rest of the season.

The 23 year-old German midfielder, who scored in Spurs’ win at Craven Cottage last month, has found first team opportunities limited at White Hart Lane since Tim Sherwood took over and promoted Nabil Bentaleb to the senior side. Holtby was keen to make the move to Fulham to get regular football in a bid to force his way into the German World Cup squad. The former Schalke midfielder has three senior caps for his country.
