Fulham youngster Lasse Vigen Christensen has signed a new three-year contract with The Cottagers.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who made his first-team debut as a 70th-minute substitute in the 1-1 draw at Norwich in the FA Cup third round earlier this month, will now stay at Craven Cottage until at least the summer of 2017.

Christensen, who also appeared off the bench late on in the replay victory over the Canaries, is rated as one of Denmark’s most promising young players and has been with the Cottagers since January 2012.

He has been a regular in Fulham’s U21 side for the last two seasons and is currently captain of the team.
