Just over 24 hours left in the window and many Fulham fans are quite concerned that Fulham haven’t added more players to the squad. Aafter 3 defeats in a row, it would be fair to say that Fulham look quite toothless at times up front. At least one striker would be needed and a wide man would also be a boost for Fulham. We have been linked to many attacking players but just haven’t been able to tie up any deals and there isn’t even any proof that Fulham where actually in for these players rather than it just being paper talk. Jol would be the first to admit that he needs to add to his side but the deadline is getting close! However we have been linked to several players in the last day or so, players who could improve competition within the side and give us more depth.

Skysports reckon that we are interested in Dnipro midfielder Derek Boateng although this is quite strange as he only signed for the Ukrainian side a number of months ago. Also, Jol has probably only seen him play twice. He that enough to make someone put a bid in? It would only be a loan deal because he has already moved clubs this summer. I suppose if it is a loan deal then why not? We could see what he is like and then sign him or not based on that.

Skysports also suggest that we are planning a new bid for Jerome Thomas of West Brom but Roy has insisted taht the wideman is not for sale. Thomas would be of use to our squad as he brings speed and good crossing ability.

One player who Fulham have been heavily linked with is Bryan Ruiz but FC Twente claim no concrete offers have been made. He would be a quality addition but doesn’t look too promising!

Apparently we are interested in Sulley Mantari and have been advised to act quickly or else we will be too late. He would be a great addition with is experience and obvious quality but again it doesn’t look too promising.

We need players in, no one can disagree. We can’t keep relying on Zamora when he is quite injury prone these days. We need more attacking quality in our squad or we will struggle to balance Europe and the league. I still can’t see us being sucked into a relegation battle, we are too good for that but we need signings if we want to finish in the top 10. Come on Jol, sign someone!
