This morning’s Sun says that Mark Schwarzer has handed in a transfer request in an attempt to force through a move to Arsenal.
Mark Hughes remains determined to keep hold of the Australian international goalkeeper, however, and will apparently fight to keep hold of him. If the story is solid, this isn’t great news on the brink of the new season.
