David Trezeguet has warned Fulham that Juventus are determined to end their trophy drought this season.
The Italians have not won any silverware since 2006 when they lifted the Serie A title – but they were stripped of that after a bribery scandal.
But France striker Trezeguet, who won the World Cup in 1998 and Euro 2000, said: “We want to win the Europa League and finish fourth in Serie A to make the Champions League. We haven’t won anything for years and it is time to show everyone we are still Juventus and a strong squad to be feared all over Europe.”
The Turin side, who will name Fiorentina boss Cesare Prandelli as their new coach, have lost all four two-legged knockout ties against English sides since they beat Liverpool in the 1985 European Cup final.
