It might have a come a day early as far as the fans are concerned, but Fulham had two reasons to be pleased this afternoon after Mark Schwarzer and Roy Hodgson were both rewarded for their fine performances by the Premier League.
Schwarzer scooped the league’s Player of the Month award for his performances in February, which saw him concede just a single league goal in five games, and Hodgson was named Manager of the Month after steering Fulham through the month undefeated. Fulham recorded three wins and two draws in February, finishing the month with eleven points out of a possible fifteen, as well as knocking Shakhtar Donetsk out of the Europa League.
Just don’t present the gongs on the pitch before the game tomorrow, will you?
