Sadly, we might have seen the last of Diomansy Kamara at Fulham. He’s joined Celtic on loan and there’s an option for the Glasgow club to sign him at the end of the season.
I’m delighted to sign for Celtic and I am very much looking forward to joining up with the manager and my new team-mates. Celtic is a magnificent football club. I will be looking to do my very best to contribute and bring the supporters success and hopefully enjoy a long future with the club.
There’s no mention of Joe’s part in our ‘Great Escape’ on the Celtic website, but he’ll always have a warm place in Fulham folklore and not just for those goals at Manchester City. Good luck, Joe!
UPDATE: Fulham’s short statement makes no mention of Celtic’s option to buy.
