Mark Schwarzer has warned his Fulham team-mates about the danger of complacency as they prepare to take on Swindon this afternoon in the FA Cup third round.

The Australian goalkeeper knows all about the magic of the Cup and insists Fulham will have to be on their guard to avoid an upset.

League tables and form books go out of the window for this one. This is the FA Cup and anything can happen as everyone knows.

Make no mistake, we will not be underestimating Swindon Town in any way, and we will treat this game with the same importance as any other. On Saturday it’s one team against another, and this is the competition for upsets.

We’ve seen it happen so many times down the years and we have to be aware of that and make sure that we perform to the best of our capabilities. We’re confident, but at this level preparation is the key.

We have done our homework and hopefully we’ll be as best prepared as we possibly can when we take to the field.

Whether Fulham’s first choice keeper will play today is an interesting question. Roy Hodgson has spoken about fielding a strong side but surely this would be an ideal opportunity to give David Stockdale another go in goal.
