Fulham centre back Adam Watts has been loaned out to Lincoln City for a month.
While this report reckons that Chris Sutton used his relationship with Roy Hodgson to secure the deal, could it not also be true that Sutton’s new assistant Ian Pearce – who played with Watts at Fulham – suggested it might be worth moving for the 21-year-old? More useful first team experience for Watts, who has been a regular fixture in the reserve team over the last couple of seasons, in any case.
