Clint Dempsey is nothing if not ambitious – and the American midfielder has already picked out a row of seats at Wembley for his family should Fulham reach the FA Cup final.
The versatile midfielder believes the Whites’ outstanding recent form means there’s no reason why Roy Hodgson’s men can’t reach the showpiece occasion at the end of the English season.
Dempsey is desperate to put together a Cup run as Fulham face Swansea in the fifth round this weekend:
“Having a cup run would make the season special – and maybe this time it’s us. In my time at Fulham in the FA or Carling Cup, we haven’t done well, and I haven’t scored in either competition. I feel that could change this time. If we got to the final my family would definitely come over.”
