Fulham are showing interest in Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo according to Sky Sports News.

The Ecuadorian international has been restricted to only a handful of appearances for the Blues this season and does not appear to feature in Mark Hughes’ immediate plans.

The powerful striker saw a loan move to German outfit Hertha Berlin collapse in September, but could finally find the Eastlands exit door during the current transfer window.

Fulham are keen to bolster a strike force that has plundered only 19 goals in 20 Premier League games this season and have identified Caicedo as a potential new recruit.

The 20-year-old has looked lively on the rare appearances he has been awarded by City and would welcome the opportunity of regular first-team football at Craven Cottage.

Reports suggest the Cottagers are interested in either a loan deal or a permanent switch, and would be prepared to involve a player exchange in any agreement which sees Caicedo head to the capital on a full-time basis.
