French full back Franck Queudrue spent a season at Craven Cottage having been tempted south by Chris Coleman on a free transfer. The former Middlesbrough left back was a regular under Coleman, famously scoring a late equaliser to rescue a point against relegation rivals Charlton in stoppage time, but was transfer-listed by the Welshman’s successor Lawrie Sanchez after voicing his disapproval at the new manager’s long ball game. After returning to France, Queudrue hung his boots in 2013.
