Brian McBride has signed a new one-year contract with Fulham.
The American striker’s deal was due to expire at the end of this season, but Fulham have agreed to extend it until the summer of 2007. The 33 year-old forward has scored ten goals this season and manager Chris Coleman is delighted to be keeping him at Craven Cottage.
Coleman said: “I cannot speak highly enough about the player. He has probably been one of our most impressive and consistent this season. Brian is a consummate professional who always gives 100% whether it’s on the training pitch or in a game, and it’s a pleasure to have him in my squad.”
