Fulham have handed a trial to German defender Jorg Bohme.

The 31-year-old has been invited over for a week’s training with the Fulham first team by Chris Coleman.

Bohme is currently at Borussia Monchengladbach and he is considering his future with his contract due to expire in the summer.

The former Schalke star has struggled with injuries in the last few years and he is currently recovering from a knee operation.

Coleman is in the market for a new left back and has been linked with a move for Portsmouth’s Matt Taylor.

Bohme is thought to be keen on a move to England and Coleman will assess his fitness before deciding whether or not to pursue his interest in the German.
