Rennes have expressed an interest in making Fulham defender Abdeslam Ouaddou’s loan stay at the club permanent.

The Moroccan international joined Rennes on a season-long loan in July and he has impressed at the French club this season.

Ouaddou could be keen on a permanent move to Rennes as he has established himself as a regular in the side after growing increasingly frustrated at his lack of opportunities at Fulham.

With Fulham signing Moritz Volz on a permanent deal from Arsenal, Ouaddou is unlikely to feature in Chris Coleman’s plans and they could be willing to offload him.
