Former FA Cup winner Alan Cork joined Fulham from Sheffield United in August 1994. The veteran striker scored three goals in fifteen appearances during an injury-ravaged campaign at Craven Cottage before retiring and joining Ian Branfoot’s backroom staff. He helped the Whites win promotion from Division Three in 1997 as first-team coach to manager Micky Adams.
