Local lad Brian Greenaway made an exciting start to his Fulham career having come through the club’s youth ranks to make his debut for the club as a seventeen year-old in a 2-2 draw at Plymouth Argyle in November 1976. He made 76 appearances for the Whites – scoring nine goals – before signing for Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia in the summer of 1982.
