Viv Busby was reunited with his former boss Alec Stock at Craven Cottage when he joined Fulham from Luton Town in August 1973. He enjoyed the most prolific spell of his career with the Whites, scoring 38 goals in three seasons. He found net twelve times in his first campaign with the club, before eighteen in 1974-1975, six of them coming during Fulham’s run to the FA Cup final, including crucial strikes against Nottingham Forest and Everton. Busby struggled for game time following the arrival of Rodney Marsh and was sold to Norwich City in September 1976.
