It remains to be seen whether Fulham remain interested in the young Bournemouth striker Danny Ings, but if Martin Jol wants to bring him to Craven Cottage he will have to fight off the attentions of Celtic.
Neil Lennon has apparently identified the 20 year-old as one of the men who could offer greater firepower up front and is reportedly ready to table an offer. Bournemouth value Ings, who scored eight goals as Bournemouth finished in the League One play-offs last season, at around £1.5m and will want to encourage a bidding war should they fail to persuade the youngster that his future lies with them. Fulham had a £1m bid for Ings rebuffed earlier this month.
The Talksport article also links the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle and Sunderland with Ings, who is expected to be part of England’s squad for the forthcoming Under-20 World Cup. Fulham’s interest in Ings surfaced during the dying embers of Mark Hughes’ reign at the Cottage, although it is thought that Academy director Huw Jennings is a big admirer of the Bournemouth forward.
HE IS THE BIGGEST PILE OF WANK EVER 8 GOALS IN ONE SEASON AND BOURNEMOUTH THINK HE IS WORTH MORE THAN 1 MILLION TOTAL BULLSHIT
The guy is a terrible player, completely over-rated. Slow, lacked in strength and just damn right brattish. I can’t see why teams are after him as he hasn’t proved himself. Bournemouth are in a dream world. Watched him last season looked like he couldn’t be bothered. BIG MISTAKE!
