Marco Silva says that Fulham will sign another forward before the end of the transfer window.
The Portuguese head coach told his pre-match press conference this afternoon that he wants to replace the goal threat provided by Willian and Bobby De Cordova-Reid, who left the club earlier this summer.
Silva said:
“We are going to sign a forward player, for sure. You all know that we have lost two wingers and we haven’t signed any players for that position. We are going to sign a forward player.”
So, Berge and Andersen tucked up and Silva says we still need a striker. Maybe this guy Cherki, but if not, who? And I think we still need a goalie. I would like to see Betinelli come back from Chelsea where he is literally one of seven keepers. He left during Parker’s reign of incompetence and I always liked him.
We should be looking for two. A winger and a centre forward. Even if we genuinely believe we can rely on Muniz and Raul, two is not enough. Everyone has at least three, if not four.
Don’t forget we already have Jay Stansfield. He deserves a chance
Yep, got Stanno, but so 1 CF with lots of experience, one who started coming good last season and is getting better – 01249653461 looking like a ‘proper’ No. 9 and Stanno who appears to have developed enough for Marco too want him around the 1st team. Remember what an attacking midfield we have, so need CF options, but plenty of goals in our midfield due to the way we play.
What about Raheem Sterling? Chelsea don’t want him and might sell him at cost. Could Fulham attract him and even afford him?
I believe MS will come up with a surprise or two, let’s wait and see.
Since this seems to be the year of nostalgic signings, how about bringing back Moussa Dembele from the Saudis? ?
A left sided winger will do ,plus a keeper as l am not quite sure about the reserve keeper Benda !!!
