Fulham have rejected a bid for Birmingham for striker Jay Stansfield.

The 21 year-old scored thirteen goals in his loan spell at St. Andrew’s last season and was voted the club’s player of the season despite being unable to prevent Blues from dropping into League One. Birmingham have offered a structured deal that could be worth up to £6m for Stansfield, but Fulham turned down the offer – and have also rebuffed loan approaches from several Championship clubs – as head coach Marco Silva sees the England under-21 international as part of his first team squad.
