Fulham are mulling an audacious summer move for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, according to various reports this morning.
United are open to selling the Scottish international as he enters the final twelve months of his current Old Trafford contract – but have made clear to Fulham that a cut-price deal will not be considered. Fulham head coach Marco Silva is looking to bolster his midfield options with players who have experience of continental football, but McTominay’s current employers are said to value the 27 year-old at around £40m.
McTominay, who has made 252 first-team appearances over eight seasons in United’s first-team set-up, has won 52 caps for his country – scoring nine goals at senior level – and was a key part of Steve Clarke’s side that qualified for the last two European Championship finals.
Time to show a bit of ambition TK
McTominay…gee.
He’s turned us down already…40 mill…wow…sell Joao and buy him for about the same outlay…
…makes absolutely no sense whatever so may well happen…meanwhile missed out on Dewsbury Hall.
Khan’t believe it’s happening again…Marco…thanks so much for putting up with it…
It is last minute.com again and Silva will be surely upset this time around !!!
This won’t happen McTominay won’t come to Us we are not a big club
Really !! Yes, I’ll believe it, if and when it happens.
Wishful thinking! Would be amazed, and I do mean AMAZED, if it happened.
Not sure “wishful” is the right word. He’s so overrated. No thanks, especially at that price.
Every morning I go online to find out who Fulham have bought. But all I hear is of Fulham players wanting to move, or we are looking at certain players or are mulling over somebody or other. What is happening at Fulham, can we finally get our finger out of the dyke and start signing players.
