Andreas Pereira scored his first senior international goal as Brazil warmed up for this summer’s Copa America with a 3-2 win over Mexico in Dallas overnight.
The Fulham midfielder opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a sublime finish after collecting a pass from Savio and shimmying past two Mexican defenders before shooting into the bottom corner. Brazil’s final warm-up game before the tournament is against the United States, who were hammered 5-1 by Colombia last night, on Wednesday before they face Costa Rica in their first group match.
Well, that’s that then, Pereira’s will now believe he’s too big for little old Fulham and will engineer a move.
It was a great goal, too. Pity he could never do that for us!
Hopefully, this makes it more of a certainty that he will go.
Good riddance
No doubt TK will sell him and Paulinha. Hey TK Marco has a buy out clause of 9 million, you can make some more instant cash there too!!!!
