Fulham value Joao Palhinha at £60m, according to Sky Sports News.

The Cottagers rejected an offer of £29.8m from Bayern Munich last week and are braced for the German giants to return with another bid. But Sky Germany’s reporting that a deal for the 28 year-old could be completed prior to the start of Euro 2024 appears to be wide of the mark, with Fulham believing Bayern’s initial offer was derisory.

The Premier League club will only sell the former Sporting Lisbon schemer, who has topped the Premier League’s tackle table for two seasons in a row, for an amount close to their valuation and believe they are in a strong position as Palhinha extended his contract shortly after his deadline day move to Bayern fell through last September. Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol says that there is no release clause in Palhinha’s contract – and Fulham are prepared to play hardball to ensure they get a big fee for one of Marco Silva’s key players.
