Andreas Pereira produced a late cameo from the substitutes’ bench as he made his first appearance of the Copa America as Brazil beat Paraguay 4-1 in Los Angeles.
Brazil put the disappointment of drawing their opening fixture behind them with a comprehensive victory over Paraguay. They eased into a 3-0 half-time lead with Vinicius Junior bagging a brace and Savio scoring a tap-in. A powerful strike from Omar Alderete helped Paraguay reduce their arrears, but Lucas Paqueta converted a penalty to make sure of the points. Pereira made his first competitive appearance for his country when he came on for the final eleven minutes.
Wonderful…Andreas, Joao and the others featuring for their countries…
Meanwhile the new season is chasing towards us.
Not a whiff of a potential signing in sight in our Khan’t do world…
Instead just rumours of our best players departing…
Khan’t we be ambitious?…Khan’t we give Marco players to supplement what we already have?…Khan’t we push for Europe?…why Khan’t we?
Because they are a bunch of Khants.
Sell Palhinha, he will be missed but he wants to go and to be fair, he deserves to go. Just don’t settle for anything less than 60m!
There is a world of players to find someone special, it’s not too difficult, we need to give Silva the reins! Let him and his team find the talent that works in his system. Bring Ryan Sess home and bring Fabio C home too!
Because the Khan’s don’t want to move forward, they just don’t want to spend any money on new players and I can see Marco leaving and who would blame him, same old shit waiting for the last day of the transfer window and then panic buying players nobody else wants.
