Marco Silva has reiterated that he wants to keep Brazilian winger Willian at Craven Cottage this summer.

The 35 year-old former Chelsea and Arsenal star is out of contract at the end of this season, but the Fulham boss repeated to the BBC following this afternoon’s goalless draw at Brentford that he wants to keep working with the veteran.

Silva said:

“First, it is not just Willian or Tosin, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Kenny Tete and Marek Rodak – all three of them were on bench today – they are all out of contract. They are not just one, we will try to talk [to all of them]. But, yes, about Willian, I was clear the last two months, a month and a half, I was clear when you started to ask me about that, we are happy with him, we [will] try to renew the contract with him, let’s see what is going to happen.”
