Marco Silva’s new Fulham contract contains a £8.6m release clause, according to a report from the Sun.

The Portuguese manager signed a new deal in October after guiding Fulham to a tenth-place finish on their return to the top flight. The 46 year-old turned down approaches from West Ham and two Saudi Pro League side last summer to commit his immediate future to Craven Cottage, but Silva’s continued success could see him linked to a number of top jobs in the close season.

The Sun suggests that the Hammers could revisit Silva’s availability at the end of this campaign with uncertainly surrounding the long-term future of current boss David Moyes.
