Fulham central defender Tosin Adarabioyo is a summer transfer target for Newcastle United, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Tosin has reportedly been scouted extensively by Newcastle over the course of this campaign and is at the top of Eddie Howe’s shortlist with Lloyd Kelly, with the former Manchester City man an attractive option as he is currently available on a Bosman with his Craven Cottage contract set to expire at the end of June.

The 26 year-old has been offered a bumper new deal by Fulham in order to ward off interest from several Premier League sides including Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, West Ham United and now the Geordies. The Whites remain confident that they can keep hold of the ball-playing centre back as his playing time has increased since he shook off a long-standing groin problem and his strong relationship with Marco Silva, but he has yet to put pen to paper on the proposed contract extension.
