Fulham have made an enquiry as to the availability of AS Roma left back Leonardo Spinazzola, according to reports from Italy.
The 30 year-old is old of contract in the summer and negotiations over a new deal have stalled following the departure of Roma’s general manager Tiago Pinto. The Italian international, who has made more than a hundred first-team appearances for Roma, has scored once and added four assists in 28 matches this season – but his future at the Stadio Olimpico is very much up in the air.
Various reports from Italy say that Fulham have asked about Spinazzola’s availability, with a view to bringing him to London on a free transfer this summer. The Whites will be looking to strengthen at left back this summer with Fode Ballo-Toure’s loan spell from AC Milan not proving particularly successful.
I hope we don’t sell Robinson he is getting better and better and we really need him, and we don’t need anymore 30 years players we already have an aging team we should be looking for younger players with a sell on value.
30 year old players are fine as back up if Robinson is staying.
Although we’d be better off making more use of Ballo Toure and convincing him to join permanently.
