Fulham forward Carlos Vinicius is travelling to Istanbul today to have a medical ahead of a proposed season-long loan move.

The Brazilian striker, who had dropped to third choice striker behind Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz over the past move, has been allowed to leave Craven Cottage after Armando Broja arrived from Chelsea on loan on deadline day.

The 28 year-old has scored eight goals in 48 appearances for Fulham since signing from Benfica two years ago. Vinicius, who has made only a single league start this term, will reassess his position in London in the summer at the end of a loan where he will try to fire the Turkish giants, currently second on goal difference between Fenerbahce, lift the Super Lig title.
