Fulham FC Women are in Capital Cup quarter-final action this afternoon at Actonians in a fixture that will be played at the Middlesex FA headquarters at Rectory Park in Northolt.
Steve Jaye’s side will be looking for a repeat of their FA Cup heroics at the same venue earlier this season when they take opponents from the division above. The Whites battled to a 1-1 draw in October, despite seeing striker Sophie Manzi scandalously sent off, with Becky Stormer scoring a dramatic late header to send the contest into extra time and then penalties. Fulham prevailed after shoot-out heroics from goalkeeper Ellie Parker and will be hoping to return to winning ways after last week’s narrow Cup defeat at home to Dulwich Hamlet.
