Fulham’s Bernd Leno has been shortlisted for the goalkeeper of the year award at the forthcoming London Football Awards.
The German international has been sensational between the sticks since moving to Craven Cottage from Arsenal in August 2022 and is one of the key reasons why Marco Silva’s side have taken to the top flight so successfully. Leno is joined on the shortlist by Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham Hotspur), Alphonse Areola (West Ham), Sam Johnstone (Crystal Palace) and Mackenzie Arnold (West Ham Women).
The winner will be announced at the awards dinner on Thursday 29 Feburary.
