Fulham have submitted a second loan offer in this transfer window for Chelsea’s Armando Broja, according to reports this afternoon.
The Whites, who also saw an enquiry rebuffed by their near neighbours in November, have proposed a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. Chelsea are eager to sell squad players to fund potential acquisitions in the closing hours of the transfer window. They have dropped their asking price for a sale to £40m according to the Daily Mail – and it remains to be seen whether Fulham’s approach will be looked upon favourably.
Chelsea rejected a loan offer from Wolves yesterday.
£40m ! ? ! If he’s worth that then they wouldn’t be selling him. QED
Too risky spending big money on strikers who have suffered ACL tears, most tail off within a few years. Too costly at the prices they are quoting, would prefer to look elsewhere.
2 goals in 19 games. Should make Jiminez worth about 80 million
Why?are we not getting our own Jay Stansfield back from Birmingham great young player that we have produced can someone ask Tony khan why this won’t happen he’s defineately better than Muniz and Vinicius
Agree totally with Keith.
If we sign this player, in years to come he will be spoken about in the same terms as Marlet and Mitroglue. Keep year money in yer pocket Tony!!
If Marco wants him we should sign him I have total faith in his judgement
One of the two goals scored was against us, via a Tim Ream clearance which rebounded off him into our net.
Totally agree with Keith we should get Jay back. Whittakers a good deal as he’s also scored goal so a good possiblity. But Broja is a definite no he scored a rebound against us and has only 1 other goal all season.
At the bridge he was terrible against us avoid at all costs.
Broja is overpriced. Not worth it.
Definitely need another striker and left wing and CB but we are so bad at transfers I won’t hold my breath for anyone half decent.
