Fulham are reported to have ‘registered their interest’ in signing Strasbourg centre half Gerzino Nyamsi during the January transfer window, according to Football Insider.

The Whites will battle Burnley for the tall central defender with Marco Silva keen to strengthen his defensive options for the second half of the season. Fulham are preparing improved terms for Tosin Adarabioyo in an attempt to keep the ball-playing centre back at Craven Cottage beyond the expiration of his current contract, but the club are considering entering the market to improve Silva’s options at the heart of the back four.

The former French under-20 international. has also attracted interest from Anderlecht and Lokomotiv Moscow after impressing during a run of thirteen consecutive Ligue 1 appearances at the start of the season. Nyamsi, who came through the youth ranks at Rennes, has made 69 first-team appearances since signing for Strasbourg in August 2021. He has a year to run on his current contract.
