Palmeiras appear less keen on bringing Fulham forward Carlos Vinicius back to Brazil in January, with Lance reporting that their interest in signing the striker has ‘gone cold’.

The Brazilian daily sports newspaper claims today that the Verdão are prioritising other positions as they look to strengthen their squad after the end of the domestic season – and that, despite reaching out to Vinicius’ representatives and Fulham earlier in the year, they haven’t submitted a formal bid for 28 year-old.

Vinicius, whose first Fulham goal was the winner against Chelsea last January, has largely been used as a substitute this season despite the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic in August and has scored eight goals in 45 appearances for the Whites.
