Fulham first-teamers Kenny Tete, Andreas Pereira, Willian and Carlos Vinicius surprised patients and staff at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital by making Christmas visits to the Nightingale, Mercury and Neptune wards whilst handing over presents and signed shirts.

The four Fulham footballers thanked staff for their hard work posing for pictures and signing autographs as they spread a little Christmas cheer in the run-up to the festive period as part of the club’s community visit programme.

Simon Hunt, the manager of Mercury Ward, said: “Christmas can sometimes be a difficult time of year for many of our patients, however seeing the excitement on the day is just amazing. More than anything, it’s a chance for the children and their families to meet their heroes who will brighten their hospital experience.”
