Fulham full back Kenny Tete will miss tomorrow’s meeting with Sheffield United at Craven Cottage and could be sidelined after the international break, according to head coach Marco Silva.
Silva had hoped that the Dutch international would be available for selection this weekend having missed Fulham’s last three fixtures with a groin injury picked up in training but Tete’s recovery has taken longer than the club had initially predicted. The Fulham boss told his pre-match press conference this afternoon:
“Kenny is taking more time that we thought with his groin, so let’s see. We will keep assessing him. It’s a week-by-week, day-by-day thing to see if he is getting better. Today he was doing injury recovery work with Bruno Mendes, so let’s see when he is back.”
The Portuguese head coach will also be without long-term injury victim Tosin Adarabioyo and Adama Traore, whom Silva expects to be out ‘for another three weeks’.
Tete seems to be another injury prone player along with Traore
