Fulham could make a January move for Galatasaray’s wantaway defender Victor Nelsson, according to reports from across Europe.
Marco Silva will require reinforcements in defence come the new year with injuries currently denying Fulham the services of both Issa Diop and Tosin Adarabioyo, who will be able to speak to foreign clubs about a pre-contract agreement in January unless he signs a new deal at Craven Cottage. That scenario seems unlikely at this point.
Nelsson, who was reportedly close to joining Sevilla last summer, and Turkish daily Takvim today suggests that the Danish international is now high on Fulham’s list of targets and that the Cottagers  ‘will make an offer’ to Galatasary for the 25 year-old centre back’s services in the new year. Nelsson, who won the Super Lig last year in his second season with Gala, has not featured in the club’s last three fixtures and told the Danish press that he would not be signing a new deal at Rams Park.
The former Nordsjælland and FC Copenhagen centre half, who was named in the Euro under-21 team of the tournament at the European Championships two years ago, has been valued at £13m by the Turkish champions.
