Marco Silva has confirmed that Issa Diop, Kenny Tete and Adama Traore will miss Fulham’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday evening.
Speaking during this afternoon’s press conference ahead of the London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday, the Fulham head coach revealed that Diop has failed to recover from the foot injury he sustained during the win over Sheffield United at Craven Cottage before the international break.
“Adama, Kenny Tete and Tosin are still out, plus Issa Diop. As you know, last game he got an injury. We are assessing him, let’s see how things go in the next few days, but he’s going to be out of the game.”
Silva was pleased to report that Fulham’s international contingent have reported back to Motspur Park unscathed ahead of the return to domestic action.
“No injuries for the players that went away with their national teams. Two of them just trained this morning, we will keep assessing them to see how they are, but they look in a good shape. Some had some long journeys. It’s not easy with some players in America, not just Tim Ream and Raúl in that area, even Bernd Leno was with his national team in America, but we are assessing them and let’s see in the next few days. We have more some days to prepare the game.”
Bit light on centre backs for Monday with only 2 left sided players available or am I missing someone?
Palhinha to play at cb?
De Fougerolles on the bench then.
